About Güera Artistry

Güera Artistry is led by Marina “Güera,” a Mexican-American artist who transforms creativity into a tool for healing, empowerment, and cultural pride. Blending painting, wearable art, and community projects, she celebrates identity and inspires others to embrace their complexity.

  • I asked Güera to create crochet plants based on a Pinterest photo, and she not only matched it—she made them even better! The quality and love in her work is undeniable. They now sit on my kitchen counter and always make me smile

  • I commissioned a painting to honor my grandmother, and Güera captured her essence perfectly. The colors, the symbolism, the emotion—it was everything I hoped for and more. It’s now the centerpiece of our family living room.

  • Wearing one of Güera’s eco-conscious jackets feels like carrying a story. The recycled fabrics and Mexican textiles come together in such a unique way—I get compliments every time I wear it.
